 I SEE

 

 

I love the way you are treating me,

Even when times were hard at shell,

Baba mi, You knew what You were doing,

Everything is working together for my good.

 

Atobajaye, Eleburu- Ike,

I can see clearly now,

When I look, Mighty GOD,  

I see glory,

When I look, Mighty GOD

I see honor.

 

 

When I look Mighty GOD,

I see victory,

Every time I try to see something else,

 I see nothin’.

 

 

Engraved in the hollow of Your Palm,

Herein lies my confidence,

 Nothing can pluck me out,

All I can see is victory.

 

I PROMISE

 

 

FATHER BATHE ME IN YOUR LIGHT,

TOUCH MY EYES AND GIVE ME SIGHT,

LET YOUR WORDS CONSUME MY HEART,

AT YOUR FEET I’LL ALWAYS BE.

 

 

IVE KNOWN ALL ALONG,

 I NEED YOU TO LEAN ON,

COS I CAN’T FIGHT IT ALL ALONE.

 

 

FATHER SAVE ME FROM LOOMING DEFEAT,

SAVE ME FROM DANGERS ALL ROUND ME,

AND SO I PROMISE,

TO BE TRUE TO YOU,

LIVE MY LIFE IN PURITY,

I PROMISE

 

 

If I begin to number them,

All ‘em sins I’ve committed,

They brought me into bondage,

 So much that I couldn’t see,

 Lost in sadness, I didn’t know,

I even tried to find joy where it didn’t exist,

 

Jesu o se ti o ja seke-seke mi,

 You died and redeemed me from the curse of the law,

Your blood washed me anew,

 

Now I can look ahead,

‘Cos im a victor in all I do,

Lord I know you will fulfill your purpose for me,

Your love endures for ever.

 

 

my  appreciation  goes to  Gbenga  Adenuga for   the inspiratiopn  for  these  lil 'rivers' .  Gbenga, if only  God  could open  your  eyes to  see  how  much  HE has  used your  music  to bless  my  life , im  sure  you'll have  more reasons  to thank Him  for   blessing you with this  wonderful talent . Ride on  my brother,  The  lord will continue  to be  with you and  bless you in all that you do.
